The Brief

The brief we've been given requires us to create a new plan to expand Gorgeous Couture's social media framework within their areas of interest. These are currently the prom dress market, the made-to-measure service, a potential hire service, and the demographic of 18-24 year olds. 

We immediately liked the sound of the prom dress market, and think this will be a really strong direction to take, especially in terms of what the brand can offer to the prom dress area. In addition, with the expansion of social media, those who are buying prom dresses are more connected than ever, thus reaching girls through this mean is easier than ever, and also a really exciting route to go down.

We've had a look online at the dresses Gorgeous Couture offer, as well as sent out a survey to gauge some primary research on what girls now want to wear for prom, given that ours were a long time ago. From here, we are going to collate our results and begin researching and developing a social media plan that is suited not only to Gorgeous Couture but to our survey results.
