Model

In terms of selecting a model we wanted to try and keep this as appropriate as possible trying to contact someone who is still in education and not yet to have had their prom. We thought this would be perfect seeing as we they would be connecting with the right audience who effectively would be targeted by the Gorgeous Couture prom range.

When thinking of someone to fit role within the 15-16/17 age range bracket I thought of a family memeber who is still yet to have her prom as she is only in year 10 which makes her 14. Although this is a little younger, she still fits the criteria as she is planning what she wants to wear for her prom next year. This was fortunate for us as this allowed us to gather first hand insights as to what is popular within the prom aspect today which is how we planned our dress selections.

Here is a collage of images to show what the model looks like. Her name is Emily Seddon and as I have already mentioned she is aged 14. Emily attends Glenburn High School in Skelmersdale and is currently in year 10. She is aged 14 and is the typical girly girl taking pride in all that she does, especially with her appearance. With this being so, I thought that she would be perfect for the modelling of the dresses as this shows the glam and the glitz lifestyle. This can also give her a preview of feeling special within the Gorgeous Couture dress whilst also preparing her for her own prom experience which is yet to come.

When asking Emily if she was available on the day of our shoot, this being Tuesday 12th she was more than happy to participate for the reason of being able to be 'pampered' for the day. With all this arranged and the model being sorted this means that we can now plan hair and make up and find our ideal location ready for Tuesday.
