Previous Campaigns

In August 2012, 24 year old Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson became the new face of Gorgeous Couture and the brand released an ad campaign featuring her modelling debut:









 Since then, in June 2013, Louise was replaced by her MIC co-star, Lucy Watson, 22:






Both of these models are from the same show, demonstrating that Gorgeous Couture believe their target consumer to be girls like those from reality shows such as Made in Chelsea, or those aspiring to that image. Both girls are young, attractive and lead glamorous, luxurious lifestyles, showing the consumer that well-known celebrities wear this brand and almost implying to the consumer that by wearing Gorgeous Couture, they can be a part of that exclusive lifestyle.

By choosing reality TV stars to model Gorgeous Couture clothing, the brand are likely to get lots of free publicity because stars like these are the ones in the press each week. Gorgeous Couture then promote this through the use of social media, to try to reach the target consumer.

Other campaigns currently carried out by Gorgeous Couture include the 'Bloggers Edit' in which the brand send out dresses to well-known fashion bloggers for them to style in their own way and post on their blog, this providing a free form of promotion to Gorgeous Couture, as well as providing the consumer with a different spin on how to wear some of the garments.
